Lexbox guide

Lexbox is the online home for your team's language projects. It stores each project on a server, keeps everyone's copies in step, and gives you a website — lexbox.org — for managing who is on a project. Lexbox used to be called Language Depot; it is the same service, and old accounts and projects are still there.

Lexbox hosts projects for FieldWorks (the desktop app, often called FLEx — FieldWorks Lite calls it FieldWorks Classic), WeSay, OneStory Editor, OurWord and Adapt It. Those programs exchange work with Lexbox through Send/Receive. Lexbox is free to use, and is provided by SIL Global and the Linguistics Institute at Payap University.

Do you use FieldWorks Lite?

Then you rarely need this guide — syncing happens inside the app, and the FieldWorks Lite user guide covers everyday work. This guide is for the website and for Send/Receive programs.
